So this is one of the few time I have taken a camera with me to explore. I know I am by no means a great photographer, but I am looking to improve and get better. It would be nice to be a half way decent photographer. I am picking my favorites from this thread, I know having the time stamps is bad, so lets not focus on that.

overall these pictures work well as a set, i'm not a great photographer either but i think if you could remove the time stamp they would be a good set, i especially like picture 3, although that one seems tilted a little, like its not centered properly

I dig the face in #5. #6 is interesting as well. The rest are meh for me. Your use of selective focus in #1 is good, though, just not a particularly engaging photo.

Here's a tip: Turn the date display off.

Yeah i think you're right it is slightly tilted. I don't have a tripod, perhaps when I get one I won't have to worry about that. Thank you.

Thank you. Six is one of my favorites as well. I will try and work on the selective focus with better subject matter. I was just trying to experiment with it, I think it looks pretty good, even if a bit boring.

I think these are great photos even without any processing... my only suggestion is to maybe just start practicing with photoshop to tweak them a bit, but you obviously have an eye for photography

Thank you very much. I haven't used photoshop since i was in high school! So I guess I do need to relearn it and start using it. Thank you again.

Most of these photos need straightening, and perhaps a little extra punch with some curve adjustments to add more contrast

3 and 4 are both over exposed

2 I find kind of boring

5 is definitely boring to me

the rest are OK.

Gotta get that post processing on the go though. I'm not sure what kind of camera you are using, but I don't suspect it's an SLR (I reserve the right to be proven wrong) so you're probably going to have to rely on a bit of post processing work to make your photos pop more and sharpen them up.

Just keep shooting, keep reading, keep playing with post-processing and you will get better, and don't take anything personally

The set overall is nice, very wide, but detailed. the only one that strikes me funny is #1. Why SO MUCH blur? I am not entirely sure what you were focusing on? The glass? If so, you needed to be more above it, I think. Because nearly the hole photo is a blur. I love 3 and 7 though.
