| | | I doubt it's anything in the "dust", you have to remember that dust blows with the wind, if this dust were to get picked up and carried near people and it could potentially make them sick it wouldn't be sitting on top of the soil

| | | Oh you guys are just full of funny comments... My two cents, don't get nekked here and roll around in the dirt or things might fall off or change colour.

| | | Sounds like some sort of toxic waste or they are trying to fill in some sort of hole with waste (I.e: a quarry with trash to build on). Probably not safe to go in there unless you want to have super powers...
On second thought, ill meet you there.

| | | Look this place up on the Superfund site database. I bet it's on there and if it is, that probably confirms what most people here have been saying, and the report may even give you more specific information about the site and whatever hazardous materials are/were there. http://www.epa.gov/superfund

THIS. Don't stop to have a picnic here. And wash everything when you get home if you go inside.

Im not to sure about that, I know a neighborhood in a nearby city that is built bordering a place where raw sewage is dumped directly onto the ground and left to dry out/soak into the soil, these hot summer months bake the ground & little wind could spread the dust all over the neighborhood.
