Me too, wish I could get in.

edit - come to think of it, I can't actually "name" that either. I guess I was referring to the actual location of the building, lol.

Geez, there are so many drains here, I forget about a lot of them. I do believe that is the "tripple stack". 3 drains stacked on top of each other. And there is a "buried structure" in them somewhere according to city maps.We didn't find it, but there are many smaller tunnels in there that are hard to get into, one of which had another room in the distance on the middle level. The outfall is very deceiving. The drain actually gets larger the further you go.

sounds like that one needs a little more investigating. will definitely have to make another trip back out to that one. i made it probably between 500' and 750' back in there. i will have to check my maps too. might accidently have something in the area.

Yeah, we call that one the triple stack, and it's pretty cool the further you go. Like Fiend said it just gets bigger and bigger. If you do plan on exploring the other levels you will need some kind of climbing shit, or huge balls. Either will do.

It all ends up in a circle room with a drain about 10 feet up, and the another a little higher up. If I remember correctly there should be a ladder, maybe.

Drains, drains, drains, drains, drains.

The drops would make sense because of the elevation changes as you go into town from the river. It would be like drop manholes in a sanitary sewer system. Now I definitely will have to make a trip back. Just going to have to make the necessary provisions first. You know like gloves, beer, rope ladder, beer, and the such. It is interesting that it would be necked down near the outfall though. Kinda goes against the design principals of stormwater management.

Oh, and to keep things going, here is a picture my daughter took with my 35mm near the end of July. Cajun should know where this is.

You said she was doing good with that camera. She sure is! I have a camera body I can let go real cheap for her, I know you wanted to get her something. You would have to get her a lens, but this time of year, B&H will have some nice deals.

Yeah, I really need to get her something. She's still mad at me for not bringing her along on some expeditions. She really has an eye for it. I'll get with you a little later on that. Thanks man.

NP It is a N-75, but I keep my cameras in good shape, and has been to the shop for cleaning before I put it up.
