Hey everyone. Haven't posted in a wile but i think it is time for us to all catch up. This one will be in pleasanton but there are a lot of possibilities of what to do after.

For old friends Haven't seen most of you in forever. Come meet up and lets talk and have some fun.

For new comers This is a great way for you to meet some locals and get your name out there. Also we do an easy explore after so that should be fun also. Check it out and meet some great new friends.

You got your dates all messed up. Title is Apr 11 which is a Monday. Event page says Sunday.

Shit, son. Sunday morning? My wife would nail my nuts to a wall if I went to a meetup on Sunday morning.

Guess I'll have to set up my own meetup if I want to go 'splorin.

Oh, and are you actually gonna make it to your own event this time?

Camping sounds sick. I might have the RV ready to go by then (depending on location). Picked it up for $1... lots of construction work to do. I'm down either way for that.

Wife would not approve of me missing church to go 'splorin.

Heres some little details of camping. Its going to be on angel island. I will be renting the camp sites (and if people want to help that would be great) and I think its like 8.50 for the ferry over. It will be 2 nights and 3 days and a 2.5 mile walk to the camp site. All are welcome to come. i should have every thing posted up by saturday. If any one has ideas let me know.

Well being brand new to the site id love to get in on this meet and greet.
I live just north of Sac so the drive wouldnt be too bad. I think this really would be a great way for me to meet people who are somewhat local Any idea of what the explore will be after the meet up? PM me or something if you have any ideas as to what it may be. Thanks.

Ill go check out the event page

I'm likely in. My abilities are still somewhat limited due to breaking 4 bones in my right wrist/hand on January 19, but I'm certainly interested.

I don't always remember to check the site, so I'd appreciate a PM or email.

Hey everyone, long-time on-and-off lurker here, looking to meet up with some nice people from the bay to explore with! I'm definitely down to meet and greet for this and I can probably help chip in a bit. I should start checking the site more regularly, but in case I don't, could someone send a PM? Thanks, guys, looking forward to it!

This sounds like fun, but are there more details available regarding the itinerary? Are we going to go to some of the sites (I know of) on Angel Island or are we leaving the campsite and island to go to the sites.
I am assuming since the hike is 2.5 miles I will need my full sized pack for all of my gear. I know you said you didn't want to divulge the site info here since you said it was supposed to be a surprise (ugh) but could you shoot me a PM with some details on this? I would like to know more about the nature of this camp-out so I can pack accordingly. The beer isn't going to carry itself you know. - d

I think the camp out is an entirely different event and is going to be set up for a later date from what i gather. I think the Meet and greet is just a couple of places after everyone meets and whatnot. At least thats what i understood from cowboys earlier posts.

Ok I was a little confused as to how this would all work. That makes a lot more sense.
