If worse comes to worse we can just harass the lazy fucker everyday until he comes through on this.

Pulled from universal facts.

Requirements for a Convention Icon
The Convention Icons are reserved for events which have a specialness to them or meet one of the following criteria:

A large number of people from a wide area attended
The event spanned multiple days
A special set of locations was explored
A special theme applied

The following types of events are not eligible:
Monthly or regular meetups
Small gatherings of a handful of people

In all cases, the request for an Icon will be considered by a moderator or the site owner. If you do not think your event deserves an icon, please do not apply.

So from what it says here we did not cover a few days, this is a regular meet up, and the people that came were not from a "wide" area. So get off my ass. Im trying

Man its tough to put something on for multiple days, especially with more than a handful of people. I dont know what a wide area is considered but we came from almost 150 miles away so idk if that counts for something. And idk about you cowboy but id say the place we went was pretty special for a group our size to be able to do. Anyway however it works out thanks for trying. We aren't trying to hound you i think we are all were just trying to completely understand what the rules are for being able to get it, and now we are starting to see what they are so ty

If Cowboy comes along, it's definitely already labeled as "Special". So you should definitely get a car badge.

"The requested resource could not be found."

You are too funny cowboy. Why is it that you want to host a convention if you don't like the politics of it? (regarding your response to Rescueme's convention thread) Ya know, if you host a convention, you can't leave in the middle of it! haha! Just f-ing with ya. Can't wait to explore with you some day!

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

thank you cowboy for hosting & providing a time/space to meet so many explorers, as well as, following through with this trivial but cool token of our super-fun-time!
Alice & i have since been out exploring with at least ten different people, from this event, on well over ten different explores since. if it weren't for your event we may not have had a chance to get comfortable with so many of you cool folks or at least it would have taken a lot longer doing so online. hell you & i have even hung out since, good times.
these group explores, meet & greets and conventions really seem to reaffirm some of the cool things about this online community & indeed all of our chosen activity of preference. they build trust & open people up to sharing things that sometimes you have to meet someone in person to share. i have seen a lot of explorers try to get a couple people together to explore via UER & as such i wasn't expecting such a large turn out. in fact, Alice & have tried to meet up with peeps from other areas of california while traveling have not been very successful.
good turn out+good place=you did good. thank you.

Huge thanks cowboy for both making this event and working on the politics for us. I know it was pain but it's much appreciated by all of us!

Cheers!
