|  | | | As a programming excersize, I coded a thing into our mail server that accepts dynamic email accounts.
The result:
your-username@mail.uer.ca (the mail. is important) now arrives at your Private Message box.
This feature can be disabled if people start spamming you.
Since this feature is still in beta:
- Only plain text emails work (no multipart, no html)
- No attachments
- Don't abuse it.

if you have a "screen name" which contains things other than spaces, underscores, or dashes, like 'dukes, you have to use the "username" part.

Considering how often people around here switch screen names, having the screen name be usable for incoming email might not be a hot idea... Could be some beaucoup embarassment the next time everyone switches names around.
