Nice. Will toss these on the potential targets list.

So....where exactly is this school?

What? I'm not supposed to be here? Yes I am officer! You see I have this hard hat on my head! That proves it!

Cool, I had NO idea what that meant until I clicked on it. Thats quite a drive from Vegas but it looks worthwhile.

I'm surprised it's still so "clean." Looks like you have more respectful trespassers in the Bay area than you do in SoCal. =\

That school opened in 1980, and closed April 3, 1996 - that's 15 years of decay. Looks like it was a Special Ed school from what I dug up.

It was the school of the arts after that.

The question is not when are we gonna stop, It's who's gonna stop us?

You can't really pull anything over on bonnie&clyde.

Except, perhaps, with mineshaft pictures.

In my mind, they are drifters who have been to and seen pretty much everything, they eat, drink, and poo exploring with gleeful abandon.

They are unstoppable.

Resistance is futile.

Give a person a match and they'll be warm for a minute, but light them on fire and they'll be warm for the rest of their life. =)

A friend and I visited on the weekend. We explored the outside for a while and didn't locate an entrance. We did find the caretakers home but he wasn't there and I don't think he still lives there.

Just as we were about to leave, someone appeared unexpectedly out of an odd place so we looked where he came from and found the way in. Once inside we met 2 residents walking around in the pitch black hallways.

1. Rules of the squat

2. A resident appears at the end of the hallway

3. "I am living proof..."

4.

5. "The Lost Boys..."

6. We came across a magazine about knives on the floor. We didn't think much about it till we came across a couple of rooms with large knives like this.

7. Today we will be reading Sesame Stree

8.

9.

10.

11. "Miller High Life"

12.

13.

14. "...so sick, so sick, so sick..."

15. "Where is my baby?"

16. The caretakers home. I didn't get the sense that he lives here anymore.

I'm heading up this way at the end of the month, sometime between 25-30th. Anyone interested in checking out this place again? Or for the first time? It's been on my list for s while, but I don't get up north that much lately.
