If by 'almost outdoes' you mean takes the iPhone camera, pisses all over it, kills it stone dead, buries it, waits a week then digs it up again and pisses on it a second time; then leaves it for the vultures? YEAH, it does!!

You have an iPhone 3 Meta, hey? Get some photos up for comparison matey! The one I have in my desk has had the battery robbed from it and the camera on the iPhone 4 I had broke before I could actually use it for anything meaningful.
I'd also like to see some photos from the Incredible too, if anyone has one? The N86 has everything it does (spec wise) including the HD video; but it has CZ optics and a Wide Angle lens so I'd love to see how they compare side to side.

Bottom line is it won't be long till separate Point and Shoot Cameras will be pretty much obsolete. Like in the old days when executives would carry a mobile phone AND a PDA.
