Jono - I did get the film results... not as nice as the digital I must say. The main problem was the drastic light/shadow ration. I have photos that look both over exposed and under exposed at the same time lol

Are you new to film? Metering is a little different with film than with digital.

| | | | Not that new... I've shot film before (motion) but only started shooting stills a few months ago. I get the metering, but the lighting was very harsh as there was like no fill light
I think it also had to do with the film's latitude vs the digital camera's latitude

 Nice to see you took a friend with you. I'd also stick with experienced people for a bit til you learn all the ins and outs.
