I usually travel heavier on photo gear than hard core climbing gear. dont get me wrong, i have that gear and know how to use it, its just that at this place, given the neighborhood, and geography, and police presence...that level of visibility is not something i care for.

You should bring Musket Boy with you for a break from his caving. He'd make a grapple hook out of dental floss and toothpicks, and be waving from the top before you had a chance to pick your jaw up off the ground. I think the guy was conceived in a spider web.

J'ai toujours fait une prière à Dieu, qui est fort courte.
La voici: "Mon Dieu, rendez nos ennemis bien ridicules!"
Dieu m'a exaucé.

So I checked this out today. two questions?

1. what is the deal with the hose hanging down, and who climbed down that?SKETCHY!

2. has anyone seen that nasty ass dead horse by the railroad tracks?

It was pretty awesome.

Here he is now...he climbed up to the top of that little rooftop building in like 15 seconds, so I had to shoot him while he was up there.

I went out there today with the Wife Unit, the Squid, and a friend and his wife. First trip to the place and first urbex for our friends. They loved it!

We got a ton of pics some of which I will post on Monday.

That would be awesome. I'm always looking for new spots. I'm disappointed right now because I found a really sweet drain system the other day but I didn't have a flashlight on me so I couldn't see much of it. I planned on checking it out again but the rains hit. I guess I'll just have to wait.
