Here's a funny story, not sure if it's true or not. In some po-dunk town, somewhere in the mid-west, was an automotive technician. Not a mechanic, mind you, but a technician. A guy who understood all things mechanical, as one should, and electrical. But he was no ordinary knuckle dragger, for he understood electronic systems as well. Some say he was part computer nerd. But what was even stranger, possibly set this guy apart, was that he understood customer service and economics. What actually set this guy apart from most of the rest, is that he actually gave a shit about people getting their money's worth. Now I don't know what ever happened to him, or if he was even was real, but the rest of the story goes something like this... There was a local fire marshall that overcharged people on towing, because his cousin was on the county board and he got all the accidents. He also got all the Sheriff vehicle repairs, and the city police ones too......until they found out they were being overcharged. One of these two was a felon, the other wasn't. Sometimes I'm as guilty as the next guy, I guess, but sometimes it pays to get to know someone before you judge them. This is just a parabale. You can come to your own conclusions.

Sounds like this guy has a right to carry a grudge. I don't like it when people get stomped on by those who are considered "well connected." Sadly, that is how America works. I wish it would change, but it probably won't. I used to be a political freak, following every election. Now, I am just jaded and dissatisfied. Hell, I worked on the Obama campaign and the guy has done nothing but disappoint me. It's like South Park said "Choose between a douche-bag and a turd sandwich.

Anyway, if I met this guy, he would have my respect.

East of Madison here. Have lurked here for years. Looking to get more into it again or just meet some like-minded people. Never really got going with this years ago because there weren't really any places around. Would like to explore some caves or do some rope work with anyone interested.

Cheers

El Paso is my hometown. There is no "U" for UE to be had in El Paso, WI. There isn't even a zip code. Anyone else from El Paso?

Well, no one has replied in quite a long time, so Ill get it started as a new Wisconsinite member. I live in j-town, down in south Wisconsin, and even though there is almost no good hunting down here, I seem to always run into the most rundown places anyways.

I lived in Wisconsin for my entire childhood, I only recently moved to Californai.

I'm from a small town called Tichigan which is outside of Waterford which is outside of Waukesha...small town o course.

I used to go find sites with my friends in high school, WI is actually a great place!

If I come back to visit the parents I'll hit up the forum and get some people together...

It would be great to have a huge get together here in Wisconsin, All the conventions seem to be in places a normal everyday Wisconsinite wouldn't be able to travel to. Also, there is an enormous amount of places here in WI that are unexplored still. The woods can hide a thousand secrets.

Janesville pretty much has crap for exploring. Except for that one tunnel along a trail by the river. Oh, and the Ford plant soon. Get in there. Tell us how it is.

The GM plant still has security in activity, I've already tried to get in and got caught before I even got in, the cameras are still in working order. as for the tunnel along the river, there is a few of those, one of which I am looking at was a tunnel used for escaped slaves, it was sealed up, but I'm planning on unsealing the cave and giving UER the first look at it in about 100 years. Wish me luck.
