I talked to a lawyer about this when I got my concealed handgun permit... In Virginia, if you have a concealed handgun permit, there are no additional charges that can be added on to trespassing (or most other crimes) as a result of you carrying a handgun. The exception is if you commit a crime WITH the gun while trespassing.

Sweet! Glad you did the foot work for me! Ive read just about all the laws for concealed handguns in the Va. Firearms code. Its actually saved as a PDF on my desktop. But I really dont think it says anything about this subject.
