Something similar to crampons that would assist in climbing climbproof mesh. Would also have equivalent hand grips

I climbed a 25ft wall with my grappling hook lastnight geeze it was a pain I wished it worked better I know yates already makes one but a rope ladder made out of 1inch webbing that can be attached to a really good grappling hook would be awesome I thought about making one but my sewing skills suck. But say a 20ft 1inch nylon web ladder you could fold that up in your back pack! Also I like the ballon Idea the same wall I climbed over went no wear lol well my friend couldnt have climbed it atleast it would have been nice to know that there was nothing on the other side of the wall. Im thinking a cheap electric helicopter and a remote vid camera will work wonders!

The world is my playground I will not be held back!

FYI Intrinsic: Bud K. catalogue has this:

$189.00. They had a RC plane that did the same thing but don't carry it anymore. It was a couple hundred bucks.

I would like to see a small collapsable periscope to look over a wall or around a corner without showing myself. (was going to say "exposing" myself, but I know better).

I'd like to have some kind of block and tackle system designed so that you could haul yourself up walls with a better purchase ratio. Something like 5:1 would be ideal. It would probably be more useful for descending and then ascending out of a location, as tossing that much line would be really hard to do.

i gotta back up Metawaffle here, I think all of us drainers would love a way to hang a bag/backpack off any wall. Iron rungs are not always available while taking pics, which can be a pain in the ass.

I've often thought of a backpack that sorta has a tripod coming out the bottom, so you can extend it, and just set it in the water, all the while keeping your bag/backpack accessible and dry.

Seriously might be the idea that makes you a millionaire! Aside from UE, you got wilderness photography. Surveyors also would probably like this idea. Who knows, there could be tons of ppl who want a "stay-dry backpack" by KingJalopy productions haha.

I would think you could easily modify a backpack to incorporate something like a golf bag stand. Even if you had to "walk" the legs out b.c they didnt pop open you could let the legs sit in the water and have the bag leaning against the side of the tunnel. I have never done draining but played lots of golf with all sorts of bags like below. Attached to a golf bag it certainly kept it stable on all sorts of bizarre inclines...

Something like...

There's this one drain nearby where I could really use a handle thingy that would basically stick to concrete and then be able to support my entire body weight as I pulled myself up with it.

This is strictly minus the 'safely' part...

Yes, that black segment is an elastic bungee. No, don't EVER think of constructing such a thing!
