| | | i love old tall ships. but the finds should go to the finders. the only things i think they should give to the British is the remains of the ship including the cannons. simply for the preservation of history. there were very few ship of the lines ever made and the only one still able to sail is the victory's reproduction. they are building another one but i forget were

| | | The valuables from the vessel, including brass cannons, could be worth millions of pounds, some experts say. WOW!! That's like, Ten US Dollars at the current exchange rate!! Chris...
We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit. |

| | | As I understand it from what little research I've had time to do, after Victory was sunk, they built another ship of the same name. This ship played a role in Trafalgar. The replica, as I hear it, is actually of the second Victory, not the first. Don't quote me on this...

| | | It's a shame that most wrecks of that type are in deep water. It takes deep pockets to find and recover them.
Don't worry... nothing is gonna be alright. |

| | | You need an RSS Feed for your site, PhotoSeeker. That's an awesome story though. Salvage has always been one of the more interesting aspects of diving for me. I've had the opportunity to work on a few underwater archeology projects, and it's always incredible.

It's certainly a fascinating area to be in. I'm sure there's much more down there than most people are aware of, particularly in the older areas (from a civilization scope) like the Mediterranean.
