I have an excuse... I've already seen pretty much everything in my area that doesn't have bees.
No one is doing any exploring? The South forum has been dead. It's quite depressing.
Lets talk about whats new with us. It's been awhile since I've talked to some of you.... so lets update each other on our lives and why we haven't been posting to explorations.
As for me, school started recently, so back to work I go.
My daughter turned 7 years old today, (How time flies...)
I finally got a new car after my Jetta got totaled. I'm driving a Mazda Tribute now.
As for exploring.... not much to see around here that I haven't seen already. I'm sure that I will discover more though, after Gringo_Loco gets here. OH! Thats another new thing... Gringo_Loco is moving here from Kansas City!

What does you all mean? It kinda looks like y'all but Im not too sure. 
As for me just working, looking for a new house and exploring when I get a chance.

Mostly it's too hot for me to be out...getting eaten up by bugs. We're about to enter the prime part of the year in my opinion though.
I was up in Dallas at the beginning of August to see Nelly McKay play, I didn't even poke around for places to explore. Mostly I've been taking pictures of people.

Other than that, I'm ready to go as soon as it's not too hot. And, kinda like Musketboy, I've explored both buildings in this little rural shit hole where I live.
I'm having a mid-life crisis. I need some new things to explore. New worlds and new women to conquer, and another cup of coffee. 
I'm still here, every day. I read everything that is posted in the south, trying to keep bustedknuckle in line.

I've got two kids in school now... that's just strange. I feel waaay too young to have kids, let alone kids in school.

That's a huge undertaking as it is.
I'm waiting out the heat myself. Need to take GF on some explorations.
Youngest finally turned 21. Still lives at home tho.....
Oldest got married.
New Toyota RAV4. Got a helluva deal on it.
Too hot to ride the cruiser but soon it won't be. (heat issue again)
Not enough time off from work to do what I want. Guess I will have to retire like 2X.
Anyone know where I can get some mandolin lessons?

Im doing postproduction on a photography shoot form last week, and i have a wedding coming up that im shooting. My glasses broke and next week is finals week for this quarter. I haven't had much free time lately. I did do some exploring last weekend and I got back stage in the Kaltia Humphreys Theater before a performance sorry no pics.

not retired yet, put over 8500mi on my bike since March
camera and flashlight always in the saddle bag
heat issue, schmeat issue! my oil temps been runnin 250F keep a liter of Dasani in the other bag and your knees in the breeze is all you need

The heat's no fun (we just got the electricity turned on the day before we evacuated; one day of air conditioning! Then I came back to Shreveport where my air conditioner promptly died).
Haven't been exploring much this summer. My best/only exploring bud moved to Denver, and most of the places I want to get into are not anywhere I want to show up alone. My new roommate in New Orleans thinks it's totally awesome I explore abandoned buildings, though, haha. She's volunteered to go out with me once we get back home.
Otherwise, I've been busy moving, finding a job, starting school, then evacuating and all that jazz. Going back either tomorrow or Saturday, so I should have something to post soon.
