J'ai malheureusement pas trouvé beaucoup d'information concernant le futur du 3610 McTavish sur internet apart ceci:

Comme Rooty disait, l'endroit est encore plein de vie. La lumière et la chaleur dans le bloc rendent les choses plus vivantes aussi, ça c'est sur. Tout est encore intact ou presque, aucun vendalisme! Apart les planchers qui craquent de façon exagérée, ces appartements sont pourtant encore très très vivables après un peu de renovation, c'est étrange.

Au contraire. T'as les moulures d'origine et les planchers en bois franc d'origine aussi. Avec juste un peu de retouche avec du plâtre et un bon choix de couleurs, cet appart serait superbe! Vachement mieux que les boîtes carrées en presswood qui se construisent présentement...

Hehe c'est parce que la plupart des apparts sont tous blanc ou dans des teintes de bon goût alors que celui-la était spécialement laid avec une peinture rouge et mauve fait à la va vite! Je vais posté des photos éventuellement.

With help from kopernicZX3, I am in contact with a former tenant, Norman Prince, of 3610 McTavish who has graciously given permission to host the website he created in honour of his former home on my server. The website has just been reconstructed, and credits will be added to recognize Mr. Prince's work. The website itself provides an excellent chronology (literally) of the building's history, and really adds to the experience of this building. It also offers information on the building's future.

What's interesting to me in this photo is the phone number in the message; it starts with 398, as all McGill internal numbers do, which sort of confirms that this was a McGill-owned building because surprisingly (to me) this message indicates that they operated it too.

Fort probable, le gardien est surment là pour surveiller les outils et matériaux, parce que si c'est seulement pour éloigner les squatters ils devraient commencer par fermer les portes et fenêtres...
