If the rhetoric had more to do with exploration, I think it would have come close to perfection. Lasting only two days right now, the drive and pace has been remarkable given this mix. With that little aside, I think that UER isn't really that bad, despite what some perceive as a lack of intellectually stimulating material. There are plenty of outlets for that on other sites. Most of the time a thread about something greater than ordinary exploration seems to not go anywhere and sink into the archives before accumulating too many responses. Artificially limiting any negative sentiment from appearing in threads doesn't make the forum better. Why should we send the message that it's not alright to get frustrated or to criticize? Those who are consistently abusive get banned.
