| | | It reminds me of one of these. I remember how frustrated I was when everyone else could see these and I couldn't.

| | | I think the size does really matter because I got it to work with my own photo.

| | | You guys just need more practice. The size and distance apart does make a huge difference, but if you think these 2 are hard to view give some of these images a try. http://www.jrsdesign.net/gallery.html They automatically resize based on your browser window, so you can start small and work your way up. Try them full screen on a 21" monitor.

| | | Posted by Geo I haven't seen anyone else post any of these, and I know there are at least a few other people here that shoot stereo pairs. Its too bad they arent sharing. These are set-up for "cross eyed" viewing.. As I process more, I'll post them. Come on people, post those pairs. G *cross your eyes until you see a "third" picture, focus on that pic...woohoo 3D* http://www.klrue.com/sp/flypair.jpg

| | | Posted by controleman I've done some in the past. I like the viewer since you can move more freely in every corner. http://farm1.stati...1_4f412e4a11_o.jpg Don't even bother to try doing this one with your eyes ;)

The easiest way to see it, is to sit back and let your eye muscles relax and the image will blend together.

| | | Posted by sirpsychosexy Nice 3D's! My only advice is: take the grey line out. It takes so much space between the two pictures that my eyes have to cross far enough to give me a headache. I'm talking mostly about the first one. Also the size matters, the bigger it is the more you have to cross your eyes. Also, do you use software to put the two next to eachother? If not, you should try Stereo Photo Maker: http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/stphmkr/(freeware) The best thing about it is that you can easily align the pictures, which makes viewing less difficult to the eyes. (edit: spelling)
|
Thanks. The space between the images generally help people delineate between the images. If you feel like you are crossing your eyes too much, move further away and your eyes do not need to cross as much. I use photoshop for all my image work. I make all my final image adjustments while "viewing", both for stereo pairs and anaglyphs. G

That explains it. Stereo pairs are not the same picture. They are taken from two different viewpoints, thats what allows your brain to assemble the 3D image from the pair. G

I got it to focus and received a third image that was 3-d. I acually used the program from the link posted earlier. You load two of the same pics and from my understanding the program shifts it a little for you. It worked for me. My eyes must not be trained because I cant get any of yours to focus. I have been trying on and off all day.
Here is another made using that program and I was able to get it to focus. [last edit 11/21/2007 1:23 AM by suicidepactphoto - edited 1 times]

Why not? I can do this picture with my eyes easily, not quite so easily as the other ones but it only takes me about 2 seconds to get it to work. Geo, are you using a stereoscopic lens adapter, or are you manually shifting them?
