40+ year olds with Myspace pages are not cool, they are pediphiles on the prowl. Buyer beware.

Unfortunately no. The day I was there, a construction crew was digging an enormous hole right next to the building =(

Did you use a polarizer to get the skies so blue for shots 1 & 3? Also, shot 2 is slightly off center, its not a big deal, but it detracts from the symmetry of the shot, IMO anyways. Overall, good stuff, I bet inside looks sweet.

Yeah I was a little aggravated at the crooked one myself but that was the best I could fix it. And believe it or not, I didn't use a polarizer. However, I did play with the saturation in PhotoShop.

Yeah yeah yeah. If I didn't work so closely with DMH I'd be hauling my ass over that fence too!

I don't know what you did, but it looks like you colored the sky in in MS Paint in number three. Other than that, they're not bad at all.

I just noticed this after looking at your exif. Take your camera off auto mode. You will definitely shoot better once you get good with your equipment and not relying on post processing.

looks like a dirty sensor..

great shots, my only thoughts are..

-crop some of the sky out OR step back and show more
-shoot at cesta time, or even total darkness
-filters maybe? there never is any harm in exploring different things

Thanks for the suggestions. I just got the camera so until I get a copy of the manual, auto is the only mode I know how to work. I can't wait to figure out the other features. I had someone else comment that some of my colors are oversaturated. I'm trying to be really careful about that. Thanks so much!

it depends on what you like. some people like oversaturated colors. it seems to be a growing trend with digital photography and photoshop. now that people have more control over the littlest things in their photos, they are taking steps to make them less lifelike (in my opinion). and i mean theres nothing wrong with that, if thats how you like YOUR work to look, bc it is YOUR work, you know what i mean?

personally, they are too oversaturated for my taste. i prefer a more natural look. but you do whatever you feel looks good.

Haha diplomatically put Mlsery. Worcester is the only spot I oversaturate like that. Something about the color of the bricks I think. But you've seen my shots from Petersham. Those I tend to leave alone pretty much.
