A friend and I were riding our bikes on Monday, and the almost-full moon was rising over High Falls. So I returned Tuesday night to try to capture the full moon over the falls in twilight. I told them to go away, but the Clouds on the horizon didn't listen, and ruined my plans. They defied my command by darkening the sky in the wrong place.
I did, however, capture these two shots, which I am very pleased with. I can't wait to see what the FILM version looks like!

What do YOU think of them?

I like them both but I think they both could have cooked a little longer.
especially the second one....a touch underexposed imo
nice shots nonetheless though.

At first i thought so too, but i liked the dark/ mysteriousness of it this way. I figure there is enough detail so as to not make it a silhouette, and enough darkness to make you have to really *look* at it to see it.

#1 is nice, but I like #2 better. I go for the darker shots myself!

Softly creeping through
Empty hallways decades old,
glimpsing history.

I don't like it better because I have to look longer at it, I just like it! It's so surreal where as the other one is a little more from this world.

the contrast between the sky and the buildings/lights is amazing.

40+ year olds with Myspace pages are not cool, they are pediphiles on the prowl. Buyer beware.

Nice! When I am driving past that area I don't take time to look. You have captured it beautifully.

A mirage is not an optical illusion. It is a real phenomenon, and one can take photographs of it. The interpretation of the image, however, is up to the fantasy of the human mind.

number one is awesome.

Number two is good, but I think it could have gone a little longer.

Nice job though
