| | | I've run into homeless people but never had any trouble. SMI in STL is full of them.

So there've been 51 murders in the city of Toronto this year and one happened to involve a homeless person. What exactly are we supposed to be thinking about here?

That homeless or not, it's possible that not every homeless person is harmless, and they gang up. That's all.

I've never had problems with homeless people at all. Its drunken idiots that are much worse. Most of the time the homeless people are pretty anti-social, there are however far too many of them around then ever before.

I be a lot more concern about bangers, more of them, very territorial, and organized. For some of them killing is a sport.
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. |

| | | canned food does wonders.
i'm a social worker so i have an excuse when it comes to why i am there... i talk to homeless people a lot and most of them who have built their own little "shelters" are quite nice, actually. those who live on the streets, tho, are different. there are casts between them, they have another hierarchy... but really, if you are afraid of running into homeless people, just take some canned soup or whatever, and say you are a social worker and ask how they are... you might even end up helping them and having a nice conversation.
and yes, addicts can be really dangerous. but if you just give them some food and leave as fast as you can, there will be no problems. be sure to take off your mask when approaching them, and say hello or something. and yes, if they are asleep, leave them alone and be quiet.
