I don't know for sure what it was. It was hanging in an outdoor market in Bangkok. It looked to be hand sewn canvas or something but it was creepy. Just the weird pose and why someone would make it was intriguing.Just after I took that and a couple other shots, the police politely told me I wasn't supposed to take pictures but since I didn't speak Thai, I got the feeling that I wasn't supposed to shoot ANYwhere in the market. I figured it was due to black market piracy stuff.

It looks like a real mummified kid warped in canvas. doesn't look like something that someone made up.

Burlap shorts would be rough on the dingy. I gotta admit, that is a very good piece of work. The detail is amazing considering what it is made from.

two differnt things to consider file size image size you can upload a 800x600 image thats less than 100kb easy depending on what it is and how many pickles it has I save stuff for the web at 800x600 and 70% with irfanview

The software I use at home does a much better job. All we have at work is the crap that Microsoft builds into Windows and it does a crappy job of conversion. I did this one at work.

| | | I don't use irfanview, but it is a great program. Especially because you can batch stuff easy. You could also get a photobucket or similar picture hosting account so you don't have to compromise. Of course, people with low bandwidth might lament

| | | I wanted to upload a bunch of newer stuff to Photobucket but now they have size restrictions. You can still do the free thing for up to 1 meg but 2 meg costs. I'm trying to batch reduce stuff in Photoshop but it keeps asking me for JPEG options on every photo even though I specified it in the new action record mode. I've tried override save commands on and off but it still does the same thing. Real pain.
