I couldn't agree more. I started out 'UEing' something that everyone had been to a million times, but I had no idea. I thought maybe no one else knew about it. Made me feel pretty stupid, but I STILL think that location is bad ass.
I like abandoned farm houses and barns.

Since you feel that way -- maybe you could explain to me why exactly a barn is interesting...? Because I have indeed 'splored them -- and then sure don't blow my hair back. That said if you live in the middle of butt-fuck saskatchewan, I guess there is nothing else.

Different things appeal to different people. Even though I am not a big fan of drains and tunnels, I can still appreciate seeing someones pictures of them or stories of their experiences in them. I am a big fan of abandoned factories, but Bob over there may think their stupid and only like old hospitals. Either way, we all love to explore... one mans trash another mans treasure so to speak.

Yup. My friends think UE is crazy. When I show my pictures to people I work with, they wonder why I 'waste my talent of taking pictures on disgusting places'. Trash to them, awesome to me!

Well Air 33 it's like this. We all have a passion for something left behind be it an asylum, houses, factories, mines and the list can go on. Point being if you are not going to get your rocks off on what someone else does so be it, no comment and move on. I live in a very rural area with alot of barns and old farm houses. 30 miles in any direction I can find all kinds of stuff that trips my trigger and others to. Maybe not yours. As far as barns and old farm houses being lame here ya go. I know that bums, homeless, scrappers and gangs are bad shit. Now consider this my friend. An angry farmer with a shot gun he ran over with tractor last fall. This guy don't want you there and he don't miss when he aims that gun bent or not. Edit...Sorry DeusExMachina in the midst of my rant I forgot to tell you I like old barns. Keep it up, some of us like to see that sort of stuff, ignore the ones that may bring you down. They will find happiness in other posts. [last edit 5/4/2007 4:37 PM by shellyl - edited 2 times]
A mirage is not an optical illusion. It is a real phenomenon, and one can take photographs of it. The interpretation of the image, however, is up to the fantasy of the human mind. |

| | | Ok, this place really isnt my grand fathers. I was bored, thought I would joke about stuff with the rooks. I find barns to be pretty neat. The artifacts that remain there are somtimes amazing. The last barn I visited had some "Veterinary Use Only" dog meds, lots of it in viles and canned dog food that expired back in '97. Was pretty fun. Lots of unfired shotgun shells aswell. We got caught leaving though...but it was a pretty sweet location. Had a large barn, a small barn and a beautiful house. It's in the db, but no pictures yet becasue my computer sucks...

Or maybe a braincell requirement? That would be much nicer because I'm sure most of the kids on here are smarter than to just outright bash others because of their age.

| | | Better not let any antiquers know about this place; they'd be all over those metal ceiling tiles in seconds. Looks like a good location, as long as you play it safe around that collapsing side.
