| | | Yeah, I reckon save your breath talking to Rookie. I have to admit that it is a bit of fun to have a dig at Stud69 for so many reasons... the way he treats UE like a business... the way he's roughly my age (late 30s) and calls himself Stud69... then the stuff that you can't mention or I will be banned for starting flames, but let's just say the subject rhymes with "Tacist Fartsy Duck". Stud69 is one of the keenest explorers I've ever met - he just doesn't have a clue. His brief time in the Clan saw him become an outcast for trying to push his ideas upon the group such as collecting scrap metal from topsides to make money. There were heaps of his ideas for making money through UE (maybe he can post them as they went in one ear and out the other with me). He's probably learnt a lot about UE since then, but he has this insipid hatred for the Clan when much like Panic, most people don't even know him and those that do know him couldn't care less about him. He lives in an almost childish world where they are the cowboys and we are the indians. Look at his last post - it's so competitive. "Our annual report shows that we did 78 topside and 4 billion drains for the 2007/8 financial year". If anyone has a problem with UrbX it's only because Stud is causing trouble - just about everyone loves the idea of more UE groups. Even his reference to Cave Clan hibernating is a dig at the fact that he gets information from within the Clan - something that is no big deal as it's not real hard to get into the Clan anyway - he thinks a winter-break means no one explores. I came up with the idea of a winter-break (which only parts of the Clan follows anyway) because there are only so many expos you can have in a year. 2 expos a week for two years is 104 expos... pretty soon you have done everything on the list, so many people like the idea of a winter break - it's also when most of the new stuff gets found because people aren't going on official expos, they are checking out potential new locations. I could tell you that Cave Clan donated $10,000 to the Chinese Earthquake appeal and Stud would find something to pick at about it. Cheers, Doug. Edit - fixed a few typos. | | | Fellas. You may not be able to talk freely about anything in this thread, but my PM door is always open. If you have any evidence of anything one way or another to present - send me it! Multiple accounts and posters who are banned posting to UER is against the rules (and also fucking annoying) so any information on that I'll present directly to Av. Also, Stud69 is the most broke-back mountain user name I've heard in a while; please don't make fun of other users for having a fruity user name - instead make fun of them for the content of their posts and the class of their character. Chris... PS: Stud, there is a forum specifically for website announcements, creations and updates. http://www.uer.ca/...sp?fid=1&catid=121
We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit. |
