1. In UE does outdoor "exploration" count or must it be in a building

2. I was reading about these motion sensor. And remembered something else I had read

http://www.instruc...VI37N8R16ES176G36/

http://www.instruc...NWKZCXN9HES1768K2/

http://www.wired.com/news/technology/1,71087-0.html

My question...If you made like a glove with magnets If this works would you be able to "sense" motion sensors (vibrates more as you get closer).

thank you for your time I look forward to the answers

There are a lot of people that seem to think that there must be certain criteria met in order for it to be ue. It really doesn't matter. Explore anything you want; doesn't matter if it's inside, outside, active, abandoned, with or without permission. It all counts.

I guess I'd ask why anyone would care what other people think. If you're doing it for fun, have fun.

Hi Qaqas,

I think the answer to this one would probably be no. As far as I understand most motion sensors either use infrared or microwaves to detect motion. I think this thread does a pretty good job of presenting a couple of ideas for beating motion detectors (If my memory serves me well):

http://www.uer.ca/...fid=1&msgid=319745

I don't know of any motion detectors that use magnetic fields. Perhaps a robot detector would use something like this, but I've never heard of one of those either.

As for the other question, I agree with Glass. If you are having fun and the site is interesting to you it doesn't matter if it is outside/inside/active etc...

Glass put it perfect here. Who cares what you explore, git-r-done, and have fun doing it. Get pictures, get memories, have a good time! That magnet thing sounds cool though. Do you know where its possible to buy heavy dudy magnets? Something that would work...through a door..

That was the best and simplest answer. If you start listening to people here you'll only get confused, hostile and lose whatever point you started for in the first place.

I've explored everything from abandoned buildings in the middle of a big city to ruins of old farm houses out in the middle of farm country. To me, its all UE. (Hey, I made a new rhyme!)

Maybe we should consider that for the next t shirts?

If you really want to experiment with what it takes to bypass a motion detector, you can purchase a cheap one here: http://www.radiosh...upport&tab=summary
This one has a range of 30 feet and uses a passive infrared beam.

Could be wrong here, but most motion detectors that Ive seen use IR, which you wont see if you use the hollywood-dust-blowing method described above--or am I missing something?
