Search Function

Hey Av,
Are you ever going to get the search option out of alpha state? It would be nice to search more then 20 results without having to go back and change the date to search deeper. I think that would cut down on the number of duplicate subjects.

(After posting this, I really hope someone didnt already make a search thread)

I don't know, maybe we already have this, but a way to see all posts by member XXXXX would be pretty nice, I think.

EDIT - And I think that it ties into searching, hence it's appearance in this thread.

Chud - If you go to the search screen, and look on the right side, you will see a search by name option. it still only allows only 20 results though. (I know I said that already)

Yeah, it's really kind of un-usefull, at this point. Especially when it's supposed to be one of the most powerful and important resources used (think how many times you've read someone say "use the search before all this excess posting!" or something?).

Hey Av, you updated the search function, it is nice, thanks.

Was the "search for messages by the user" option in profiles there before, I dont remember, if it is new, it's a nice option.
