Thread issue

This Thread: "Moved: And you thought security cameras were scary?" on the "main board" takes me to the "Other board".

Probably should be fixed... just a suggestion though, do whatever.

That's because it was moved to that board by a moderator.

first time I clicked on a thread that's been moved then... I always assumed that "moved" ment it was moved from somewhere.. oh well, clarification is good

Yeah, it's kind of unclear. Perhaps clicking on a moved thread should take you directly to the new thread in the new board? One less click!

This defeats the purpose. The whole point of the Moved: header is to inform you that the thread has been moved.

Avatar-X, perhaps a better solution would be to do away with the shadow all together...?

No, no no! It's supposed to work exactly like it is.

When someone posts a thread in the wrong forum, the mods move it. However, oftne the person doesn't even realize that it's been moved. This means:

1. They assume it was deleted and get pissed (and bitch to the mods)
and
2. They don't learn from their mistake.

By putting the MOVED: header, both of these problems are solved.

It's SUPPOSED to not take you directly into the thread when you click the moved header, so that you realize that the thread has indeed moved.

What bugs me is that the "moved" header gets bumped when someone posts in the actual thread. I suppose it's ok, because it will disappear in a few days, but it kinda interferes with my "forum mojo groove".
