I've uploaded a clip from a movie called The TimeShifters. It's a Made For TV movie by TBS SuperStation.

It was filmed mostly in Toronto, including one scene which takes place in Lower Bay.

You'll need DIVX to see this video, get it at www.divx.com

timeshift-ttc.avi (36 mb)

Please do not spread this link around... I don't have unlimited bandwidth!

Wow now that is kool, I looked through the video really well and its amazing how they use lower bay for all 3 stations that it passes, they also used the tunnels going towards lower bay. They used some of the old M cars in the video and if you look closely, in one seen you can even see the toronto subway line map which is slightly coverd up by some kind of poster!!!I must say that the acting was horrible...

Yeah I love how they had the escalator with workmen in it, but the only reason for that was because it's dismantled!

It's a made for TV movie, of course the acting is going to suck

The car seen in the shot is an old Montreal Locomotive Works car, # 5310.

Heeeeey, that also explains something that's up on the Viewing Hole Gallery...

At about 7:20, there's a shot showing the 'crashed' subway car, which has split in a very wierd and regular fashion so that the front of the car is detached. Note the very straight 'break', almost like it was CUT or something...

Now compare that car to this one on the VHG:

Mystery solved.

I would just like to say, the best seats and most comfortable subway seats have to be the ones on the H2's....ive been on it a few times and there SO comfortable (I think there h2's, h1's have the same seats but those are out of service i think.)
