|  | | | Announcing a new feature: PRIVATE BOARDS
This feature is still in the early beta stages, but bear with me!
How it Works
Anyone (yes, including you!) can create a Private Board. Once you've created one, you can invite any number of forum members into the board. This board will appear below in a seperate section of the main page for all members.
Only those who are part of the board are allowed to view/post in it.
Use this to make a special board for only the members of your exploration group, or possibly for select people to discuss an upcoming mission. The possibilities are limited only by your imagination.
Try it out! The link is on the front page -- Click HOME, then select the NEW link!

I was thinking, you should set up a canned message that will automatically be sent to someone when they are included in a private forum... (maybe you have already done this...)
I know that the forum will only appear at the bottom if you are a member but some people might not notice right away...

I also wouldn’t mind taking on the responsibility of a moderator, however I don't think demanding to be one is really the way to go. AV has a good idea who we are and what we stand for. If he feels he needs a new mod for the Quebec board I am sure he will approach one of us privately. Since I have not yet made any kind of financial contribution to the board, I don't think I can demand anything from AV. Even if had already made a donation, it is his baby and we shouldn't try to push him.

It's hard to speak your mind when someone's private board shows up and you're not sure who all is listening. Maybe instead of the "manage members" link, give everyone else in the group besides the creator a link to a page that shows a list of members with clickable screen names linking to profiles. Also clearly indicate which of those members created the private board. That would be slick.

As for the members thing: You can see who made a private board by looking at the front page, it says "moderated by" and the name of the person who made it. I'll make a member-list page.
