|  | | | I experimented a bit with the read states, and there is somehow a bug in either IE or uer.ca:
When I opened my profile I switched the advanced read states to on, but didn't save.
I didn't notice anything different so I checked whether they were on in my profile, they were.
Only when I closed my browser (ie 5.5 on w98) and reopened and checked my profile I noticed the adv.rs was off.
I switched it on and saved.
Now I have forgotten to save my profile more often, so maybe it's possible to spend some time to either program a popupbox "do you really want to continue without saving" when you change the page, or a "save" button under every chapter in the profile page, not just on the bottom of the whole page.

But if you've read my post, you'd know that this post isn't about the read states themselves (we have another thread for that) but about the profile section.
- found another thing: the "characters left" display says 400 until you click the tectaria**. This is a Minor cosmetic issue though, and I'm a bitch.

I know, but I forget this a lot (And I don't want to bitch, but in HCI class we learnt: "If the same mistake is made twice, don't educate the user. Change your program.")
