Um, last time I was in there, /slap worked just fine. And that was 4 days ago...

Edit: Oh wait. I seem to remember a slight bug in the /slap command... something about it messing up who you actually slapped... must have been yanked for now.

As for pressing tab for autocomplete, that's not an IRC function, that's a mIRC function and would be difficult since the tab key is most likely already in use by your browser. You can usually shorten someone's name to an abbreviation or cut a part out of it to signify someone quickly  .

Yes, but it would still be complicated to do. You would need same way of having the names list accessible to the command, a server-side search function to search through through the (dynamic) userlist from the command, limiting it to the room, mapping it to a key that few people would have currently mapped, and so on...

I'd be interested in hearing from any other Mac OS 10.3.3 users running the final Firefox release, especially any mods.

P.S. Figured it out. I had the All-in-One Gestures extension configured to utilize the right mouse button for certain functionality. I changed that to the middle buttons, and I'm good to go.
