Clarification on the Term 'Demolished' in Locations Index

Are buildings marked 'demolished' completely leveled? I assume so, because there's also the category 'being demolished' which I can't currently access.

Cheers,
Johnny

Yes, if a location is marked "Demolished," it's pretty well deemed to have nothing left.

"Being Demolished" could be anything from a ghost town or large factory complex with a bulldozer starting in at one end, to a building that's already demolished and nobody's been back to confirm it yet.

Thanks.
Is there any way to show only non-demolished buildings? I've tried unchecking the 'demolished' box and hitting 'update filter' but that doesn't seem to be doing the trick.

It should work as advertised. What region are you searching?

Toronto ON. Maybe it's a problem on my end, I'll try to resolve it.

How many locations do you see in Toronto? By my count, it's 74?

You're not a full member. So you only get access to the public database, which is mostly demolished locations.

There's also a huge amount of places where 90% of the buildings have been demolished and the remainders aren't very interesting. They're often listed as fully demolished and not too worth your time...but hey, it can be something to do.

I've marked a few locations in the DB as Demolished. One was an entire site. That site has been literally wiped off the face of the planet. Not only are the buildings gone, the foundations have all been pulled, even the top couple feet of dirt have been pulled out, cleaned and replaced. Now that's "Demolished".

Honesty may be the best policy, but it's important to remember that apparently, by elimination, dishonesty is the second-best policy. -George Carlin (1937 - 2008)

It is worth pointing out that not all public locations are demolished. All demolished sites are listed as publicly viewable, but all public sites don't have to be listed as demolished.
