| | | haha raded, i thought the exact same thing. shaving the top part of your legs because the hair makes noise when they rub against the clothes. Thats why i made this thread, i wanted to see if there was a better way to silence cloths before i shave my legs.

| | | I have encountered the same problem. I solved it by wearing cotton or cotton blend fabrics. Stay away from nylon or polyester. They tend to make "swishy" noises. Jeans work pretty good too. I tried spandex for a while, but I kept getting distracted by fighting crime and never got around to any exploring.

| | | Jeans are very quiet and don't usually stick out. I usually like to go with a polar fleece top. Unless I am somewhere that dictates having protection, sneakers are much more quiet then steel toe boots, or any shoes/boots with a shank. Or you could just UE naked, and it would be really quiet rosie

| | | Actually in all seriousness, sweats seem to work well so long as they are not too baggy. My problem is not clothes, my shoes squeak! They just started doing that a week ago and I do not know why. I agree though, stick to cottons. I have not had any noise issues while wearing cotton sweats.

| | | Try putting duct tape at the back of the heel of your shoes to stop squeaks. I did that to my converse and it worked like a charm.

| | | I stick with cotton/poly blend cargo pants, zipper tags cut off and replaced with string, and and buttons taped over with fabric tape so they dont clink when they hit objects. For tops, I will wear a tight fitting cotton t-shirt or a tight fitting cotton/poly long sleeve, the more form fitting the shirt, the less it swishes against your torso or other objects.

| | | I always ware CF combat pants and boots. The pants have large deep pockets with button down flaps(you can hang inverted and change wont fall out of them) and they also have large side cargo pockets(also very useful). The cargo pockets are waterproof and the pants on the whole dry in 5min or so. The boots are all leather with a nonslip rubber sole that is resistant to petrolium, oil and lubricants. The soles also have massive treads on them, designed for repelling down shear surfaces. As well the sole is spilt which is perfect for climbing ladders. Also they have a steel shank in the bottom, very useful because how many times after UEing have i found a piece of glass or nail in the bottom of them. As for silence there built for the purpose of moving silently through any condtions be they urban or dirt battle field.

| | | i would worry more about what your stepping on than what your wearing, but i would also say that jeans or kakies would do good with a high amount of cotton in them.
