Newbie looking for some places to go
< on 10/13/2012 12:14 AM >
Posted on Forum: UER Forum

Hello all, I'm Chris. I'm currently on a roadtrip around the US with a small handful of friends, and I'm looking around for good places to go for beginners. I'll be searching through the areas of wherever I am staying frequently, but I'm just wondering if anyone can think of like, a few really awesome places to go as a beginner to urban exploring. Also, if anyone wants to meet up, that would be super awesome.

Many thanks
-Chris

You need to redo this post and not ask for locations but rather to let people know your path and ask if anyone would like to meet up.

You should go to the gas station before you run out

I drink gasoline for breakfeast and beer for dinner!

Spoiler warning...

All the replies are just going to be people telling you not to ask for locations when you're new from here on. Some of them will be useful and guiding, some will be rude or hilarious.

True story!
If you do find your way out to New England, look me up. There are a few neat little spots out here, and plenty of good people to meet.

Ahh, sorry. I wasn't quite asking for really super rad places that shouldn't be given out to beginners, sorry if it came across like that. I mean, there are a number of them on here that look like they'd be good, but it is a bit of a pain to sift through everything for somewhere around where I am when I'm not familiar with a location. I was just hoping like, for example: someone in like, LA saying 'Hey I just went to this cool place, not much dangerous there, it would be good for a beginner'. That sort of thing.
Also, I'm currently in PA, heading west across the northern part of the US.
If location giving isn't really great, then maybe just good tips for finding locations? Thank you all
-Chris

Google some industries in PA. Like:

Coal breaker
Steel works

etc. Make sure they aren't heavily policed. Go.

He can't. I got that sealed just like the other that apparently you're spreading rumors about.

And that would be funny if you were around when Byberry was.

Would be funny if you were actually exploring when it was abandoned

Oh right, the NE forum.

Oh good, my slow clap processor made it into this thing.
