I always like Tom Waits in movies - I just watched Wristcutters again - he's great in that.

I've never seen that movie. Heard good things about it, but didn't know he was in it. Next time I'm in a movie store, you can bet your ass I'm hunting for that one.

I love his bit in coffee and cigarettes. thats all of the movie I have ever seen though. I looked for it in the store today with no luck. Pirate Bay has it though, so I am getting it now.

His version of Roxanne is by far the best I have ever heard.

Hmmm very good question. I'm liking your Apocalyptica idea cause that would be an amazing show, but i think i'm going to have to choose Huey Lewis & The News. Haven't seen them since July 97' and i could really go for a HL&TN show right about now.

So, I found out that Huey Lewis and the News have two Canadian shows:
Wed. August 25 Vancouver BC Canada Pacific National Exhibition and
Fri. December 31 Richmond, BC, Canada River Rock Show Theater. No Ontario dates! ARGGH!

Of people still performing?

Killing Joke(I might get the chance, too.)

Tom Waits( although I did stand in line next to him at a coffee shop)

Florance and the Machine

My list will grow. I just can't think right now.

Ornette Coleman! seeing him in Austin in the fall, other than that there are too many to list. I'd love to see Pauline Oliveros again, that was a life altering event.

I've seen AC/DC and what a concert it was.
If I could see one band thats not together any more, other than the obvious Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, it would have to be System of a Down. To this day I still regret not going to their last concert

Since the ice has already been broken and everyone seems to be accepting shows no longer possible, I would go see Dead Kennedy's, Ramones, and/or Sublime. Other than that I guess Flogging Molly, Rodrigo y Gabriela, and definitely Iron Maiden.

I'm pretty upset I missed the Roger Waters concert in Toronto that just passed. I didn't have the money so I went exploring instead. I also had tickets to Simon & Garfunkel but that got canceled.
My life would be just about complete if I were to finally see Paul Simon.

I went to the Roger Waters concert here in Toronto. It was easily one of the best concerts I have seen. This Saturday is Ozzy Osbourne, so I can knock him off the list now

Ahh you went to that concert too? Fuck! So many of my friends went to it! None of them ever stop gloating about it! I hear it was amazing. I think I was coming back from Canada Malting, and I was taking the subway north on Yonge and it must have been just as the concert ended because Union station was just packed. At one point the train driver came on the PA and got the whole train yelling for the concert. He said something like "Attention all customers, how was Roger Waters?"
God I wish I was there. I don't feel like there'll be another chance to see Pink Floyd at all. I'm gonna hate myself forever.

He's still on tour, it's gonna cost a pretty penny to travel to go see him though
Theres a couple full concert recordings on some bootleg torrent websites. I've seen one of them and they are in amazing quality. If you can't go see him, at least grab one of the bootlegs!
