Hiked to the Lighthouse in Palo Duro Canyon last night to grab a few shots with the almost full moon. We left at 9:00pm and got back to the car about 1:15am after spending a couple of hours at the Lighthouse. This shot is my favorite.

are you using a radio slave flash unit, or something like an alien bee?

I always like looking at your photos, thanks for sharing.

Thanks. Glad you liked it. No slave flash unit. Just a hand held flash and a color gel.

I tried but had a tire blow out on the way out of town.

...with a torch? That looks pretty cool. The first one is very 'Indiana Jones'... When Indiana Jones was still cool.. before the last movie.

Mary Allen College - Crockett

I was in Palestine last night and saw a sign saying 30 miles to Crockett... then I remembered seeing a picture of this place on Noel's page. Unfortunately for you, the viewing public, my talent level is nowhere near his.

By the way, I love the torch/tunnel pics!

Thanks for the positive feedback man! I had my daughter with me on this outing, and shes 7, so we didnt check out the inside other than peeking through the side door. This was more of an impromptu trip to test out my new shutter release cable.
