Basically when I was trying to get into an abandoned factory the other day, one of the locals who must have lived nearby (or been incredibly sneaky) manage to get behind me, called out, and the snapped a pic of me going under a fence. I wasn't wearing any face coverings, and he walked away while I tried to talk to him, but I don't have any kind of record or anything. Can the police do anthing with just a photo of my face and nothing else?

Can they? Absolutely, facial recognition tech has come a long way. If you have any kind of social media with your face in it (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc) they can use AI to track you down. The big question here isn't "can they," it's "will they." If you're just crossing a fence they aren't likely to care enough to waste the resources tracking you down for a trespassing ticket. Even the most boring small town PD has better things to do. Now, they could put that pic up on the PD Facebook page or Crimestoppers and see if anyone recognizes you, but for just crossing a fence even that's too much of a bother. In conclusion, 95% chance that you're fine. If for some reason anything does come of it, do not say anything about trying to get inside and just come up with an excuse for why you'd be inside the fence without going inside the factory. Don't worry too much, learn from the experience, and maybe back off that factory for a few months to let the heat die down.

I hate to break it to you, but your life is effectively over. You should pack up and move to a South American country and change your name before it's too late.

I was in a similar situation a few years ago... Got seen on camera leaving this weird brutalist middle school. Not long after that, a bunch of guys in suits broke into my house and watched reruns of Friends in my living room for like two days. I kept trying to give them hints that they should leave but they just wouldn't. Stay safe out there.

*worried. Also, yes. You're screwed. I know a guy that can get you out of the country on the down low. You don't mind being transported up the who-ha of a fertile elephant, do you? On the plus side, its cheap, warm, and by the time elephant tranquilizers wear off, you're there. Also, Myanmar is beautiful this time of year. HMU.

I take it back, the feds are already on their way to your house. Your only hope now is to flee to a non-extradition country.
