| | | Can they? Absolutely, facial recognition tech has come a long way. If you have any kind of social media with your face in it (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc) they can use AI to track you down. The big question here isn't "can they," it's "will they." If you're just crossing a fence they aren't likely to care enough to waste the resources tracking you down for a trespassing ticket. Even the most boring small town PD has better things to do. Now, they could put that pic up on the PD Facebook page or Crimestoppers and see if anyone recognizes you, but for just crossing a fence even that's too much of a bother. In conclusion, 95% chance that you're fine. If for some reason anything does come of it, do not say anything about trying to get inside and just come up with an excuse for why you'd be inside the fence without going inside the factory. Don't worry too much, learn from the experience, and maybe back off that factory for a few months to let the heat die down.
