In a community like this one, our profile pictures and screen names represent our personalities, our adventures, our decorum, etc. Each one has a different legacy associated to it. Since it's technically still winter and activity is low, and because it's something I've been curious about, what's the reason for your profile picture?
The sister post about Usernames was started by A-Z and can be found below. It's also worth noting that this post was his idea:
Mine is Pitfall Larry from the 2600 pitfall. I'm a retro game enthusiast and I thought Larry embodied both of these hobbies pretty well. It was Doug Prishpreed from Steve Brule, but that was before I found this awesome graphic.
Edit: A-Z DID do this post back in 2014. My bad. This can be the 2018 edition

Mine is a picture I took from the bike on a day trip up through NW Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina to grab some Nehi sodas in 2011. I do the majority of my exploration by V-Strom, and the pic caught my eye.
In all of my photos where I am visible, my face is deliberately obscured in some way. Maybe it's paranoid of me, but facial recognition technology is getting better by the day, and I don't want my face and real name tied to pictures of me in places I'm not supposed to be. To that end, a dust mask both obscures my face and filters out dust, so I wear one a lot when exploring.
"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there.

The first time I met a large number of other explorers, Pokémon go was brand new. We blended in on a university campus because we weren’t the only ones wandering around aimlessly in groups with our phones out.
Pidgey is named Pidgey but really looks like a sparrow. The name came first, then the angry, funny-looking pidgey followed months later.

You make it sound like someone changed it for you. Lol
Because I was watching a lot of Archer when I changed it this time. It'll change again, probably something Gravity Falls, SVTFOE, or RWBY related...I am a child.
Because when we see the mushroom clouds on the horizon, they might as well be in the shape of a hand flipping the bird. Why? Because what they are saying is "fuck you and everyone and everything you love and cherish".
Plus fire is cool.

Currently it's my last JettaWagen when it hit 500,000km a few years ago. That wagon has been dead for almost a year now, at some point I'll probably switch it to a photo of its replacement. My wagons have taken me on some pretty cool adventures, and gone places where cars aren't supposed to go, so they've gotten the nickname, "AdventureWagen".
Basically, I'm mildly obsessed with my cars and like them more than most people.
