The one older building close to the river was torn down like 5 years ago I think that was the original distillery .

It's been more then that. It was collapsed in 2005 or so on the NW corner by the road and river. Sadly it was one of the most interesting buildings there. It was the distillery. It had tractors, lawn mowing equipment, and electronics/repair/maintenance items too. Including a ph meter that had a "magic eye" circa 50-60s.

If you guys want the actual update of this I live local and talk to the care taker thay lives across the street larry. The Linfield fire dept gets calls there atleast 10 times plus a month for people setting fires. The fire Marshall started complaining to the police and both decided that if the buildings weren't sealed up to prevent it the police will fine the owner ed $1000 a day for each day it's not sealed up. They brought in 2 guys to block up all the door ways so doors were closed and locked up then they put cinder blocks and mortar in front of them to seal it all. Remax doesn't own the property the owner ed still owns it and lives in NY. The care taker is the only one allowed on the property other then the police and fire department. As of now the limerick police have a gate key now and patrol the grounds now as the glass was cleaned up to keep from destroying their tires. Anyone caught on the grounds is immediately arrested and fined for trespassing and any other charges they can and will press. The limerick police are total dick heads and will do anything they can to get you off the property since they are sick of dealing with it. I would give it a good long few months or a year maybe before bothering with the place again as the fine I believe is around $750 were it's $1000 at Penn Hurst. As for cameras no there isn't any there since there isn't any power to the place. Just give this place a brake for a while and let them clear the shit heads that cause this crap out.

10 times a month? Not buying that plus most of the buildings still standing are fire proof liquor warehouses. It's $300 or so fine for defiant trespass in PA.

One thing I can verify is it's hard to park anywhere around there and walk in without being noticed.

This place was set on fire 3+ times in 2015 alone...

What do you expect the community to do just let it burn?
If there werent fires, this place would still be a gem, unfortunately kids have nothing better to do than burn down abandoned buildings out in the middle of no where, like this and hospitals in NY and MD...

:/

I park at the "park" across the road but that's just me. Screw this place not even worth the walk it takes to see a bunch of rectangular warehouse exteriors.

It was a shithole 10 years ago, but the stairwells and interiors are cool. The stainless steel tank was cool too and there's that house by the river.
Best to access to the east through the game lands probably.

Don't believe me? That's fine but I run with my local fire dept. And I know plenty of people that run with the Linfield fire dept. They have told me and so has Larry the care taker. They might not be major calls but they still get called to the place and end up dispatching mutual aid company's that get sick of wasting money and time driving out there for nothing. Also trespassing fines are a minimum of $300 but can get raised like they do at Penn Hurst. It's at $1000 now if you get cought.

Hmmm, I just find it odd there's a big-ass Remax sign right next to the front gate talking about "lot for sale" or something. I don't know why Ed still bothers with the place if it really is that hectic.

Any-who, you gave tons of useful information, I thank you for that. That explains a lot. By the likes of it, I think we're all gonna lay off the place.
