I like 'em too. I've had a few now, but why does the trunk have to open with such a small opening? Body integrity perhaps, or just poor design?
another from my end too...

not sure... my Cobalt had a ridiculously small trunk opening as well. Oh and I HATE New York's new license plates. They were an ugly color combo in the 70's and early 80's and you know what? Still ugly now.

Possibly a simple design kludge then to impart structural integrity to the body? Seems a shame as the truck itself was HUGE, but you could not put a standard large suitcase through the mouse anus of an opening... I did however love the imperial to SI function, made driving into the Great White North (and back again) a breeze. Neko.

definitely as I used to make forays into Quebec before this homeland security nonsense. Commenting on the pic above this post... that Escort is a rarely seen car here. Most of them rotted away to dust here.

Same here, actually. I mean, there are still a good amount on the road, but none in good condition. I was lucky to get mine from my grandpa who only used it to drive half a mile to the golf course for the latter half of its life. Garage kept, well-maintained, and responsibly driven. It never had any problems until I decided that I'm Colin McRae and bottomed out on a dirt road.... Still runs perfectly though; just messed up the plastic skidplate things underneath.

We couldnt find anything bigger to park near the security car... Next time, we might add a clown with balloons in the back

Can someone guess what is the car? It's native from Ingolstadt, from the 90's, turbo and AWD. Ok, it's a lot of information! lol
