That's the best car for exploring, also everyone around you thinks your a cop while your driving it.

Oh trust me,I get a lot of respect on the highway..even when it's parked people look twice and slow down,I removed the center caps.switching out the rims eventually

One of the stops on our recent Catskills trip. A extremely helpful waitress at the diner in town gave us very good directions to get here. These buildings still had power, signs for alarms and the neighbors across the street were eyeballing us as soon as we pulled in. Many of these buildings are now used as houses. We walked around, took some exterior pics and continued on our way.

Sick Regal,man

Thanks! I wanted a Regal GS for a few years after I drove one that belonged to a friend of mine. Finally found this one for a good price in April of last year. Has been a excellent daily driver ever since.

Parked in an empty parking of a vacant s.s.i building,I've saw people parked there before,it's a mix use parking lot now since they can't seem to sell the building, and no this is not an ex police car,it's just the base 1998 model year crown vic

Ironically me and my friend were just discussing yesterday how great it would be to have ex cop car to take exploring. Park it right out front and nobody would think twice. A white pickup with a work light would do well also.

They are good cars. Intake gaskets being the only engine weak point. Engine will outlast the transmission and the body of the car if you live in a state that uses road salt. The rockers on mine are starting to go, luckily its not visible unless the car is on a lift.

The bodies and undercarriage tend to rot to hell in a hand basket quicker in this state(northern Midwestern state surrounded by water) than where I'm originally from(Up an hour away from Montreal)

Nice,I'd keep it that way just swap out the rims for these and tint the rear windows a bit and some decals on the smallest rear side windows, but again that's just my opinion ;)

Aftermarket rims are the best way to ruin an otherwise official looking Crown Vic.

Just my 2 cents.

My modest little mode of transportation. It's slower for getting around, but easily concealable and give you an excuse if someone walks up (Oh, my chain came loose).

No. Finally got around to getting there the other day, but they've got signs all over the place about security.
