Thats not true at all. The more autos in safe hands, still mean more autos in bad hands. You really think money is going to stop a criminal from getting an auto? Thats if they dont have one already.

No, that's very true. Criminals get weapons regardless of the law. There is no reason why I should have to get a class III, pay a $200 tax, and then $10,000k for an auto.

Exactly just the governments excuse to take more of your money.

You really think over taxing and overcharging the general public who wishes to legally purchase a full auto is going to make us SAFER then?

Since the Gun Control Act of 1934 (I believe) there has been exactly 1 (one. uno, ein) crime committed with a legally registered machine gun, and it was committed by a cop. Machine gun owners are the safest weapons owners in the wrold. Regulating LEGAL machine guns further will accomplish zip.

I have changed my personal exploring ethics code. From now on it will be: "Take only aimed shots, leave only hobo corpses." Copper scrappers, meth heads and homeless beware. The Jonsered cometh among you, bringing fear and dread.

Jonsered glad you had that statistic around. I knew it was a really low number just didn't know it was actually 1.

I'm a firm believer that all the gun legislation in world won't protect us from the odd ball guy that has a clean record, the money and the brains to get full auto (or any type of gun requiring a permit) for use in committing a crime. If someone really wants to acquire a gun of any type (legally or illegally) to hurt other people they'll find a way to do it. They only thing the rest of us can do is be prepared.

How does one "commute" a crime?

So I stepped up and dropped the $350.00 for one of slide fire's stocks....worth every fucking penny!
Test fired it yesterday. Oh my god. Just like the video. the first mag I dumped just to get a feel for it, and it was every bit as natural and easy as all the online videos imply. by the second mag I was getting controllable burst of two and three rounds (not ether or,three when I wanted and two when I wanted)
This stock is the best thing since sliced bread.
I also tested my surefire 60 round mag by dumping it in about 5 seconds.

Legal, controllable full auto rates of fire at a fraction of the cost of the classIII equivalent.

I'll just jump right in here since I haven't posted in this forum in just about forever. So the full auto functionality is easy but can you shoot it accurately? For the record, I'd love to have a full-auto and I know it's plenty of fun but I'm not sure I'm interested in this unless you can be fairly accurate.

watch the youtube videos....in "group therapy" mode at 25 meters or less you can keep them all on target with ease.
now longer ranges are a different story.
this rig is the most fun I have had at the range in a long time. I might even dare to say it's MORE fun than a class three because it's more interactive.

That was a full extended mag 45 round dump.
At the end of the vid you can see I have also equiped my A.K. w/ the slidefire stock. It works just as well although the increased recoil of that weapon makes it a little harder to control.
no tax stamp, bullshit,or paperwork...just pure rock and roll.

mmmmm....this looks like fun.

Bump firing has been around forever. It doesn't make the weapon "fully auto", it just replicates said effect.

I'd not see the bump fire board till now, haha. That's a funny one.

Andrew, I have a question.

Both of their AR15 stocks say that their made to "look like" modern stocks. Are they still multi-position stocks on the length-of-pull, or do they only appear to be??

Ooh, 3rd edit.

Andrew, can you fire it in "normal" semi-auto style, one round at a time, without bumping it and still shoot accurately?

Give a person a match and they'll be warm for a minute, but light them on fire and they'll be warm for the rest of their life. =)

You can lock the stock in the "normal semi" auto position.
The lenth of the stock is fixed so no more super short stock, but overall I would say it's worth the coin.

Interesting, thanks for answering.

Seems kinda stupid to replicate the look of a multi-position stock simply for aesthetics sake. Wonder why they don't just make it look like a different normal, non-length-adjustable stock?

Prolly cuz it wouldn't be as "scary looking" to scare all those libs. haha.

I'll look into it, thx man ;)
