	There can't be that many people off of work. My office is bumpin' right now. Hell I have a conference call on mute just so I can post this lame post on UER. Now Friday...I bet lots of people will be off that day.

	Yeah, don't feel bad. We work on the "Federal" schedule which is "if there is mail delivery, we are open". Therefore, I worked Christmas Eve and the day after Christmas. I am here at work now, and I'll be here on Friday. We also worked the day after Thanksgiving which totally sucked, because the mailman made sure to say "your the only office open on my entire route". Yes, I'm thankful I have a job to go to. But the thing that REALLY pisses me off is that there is only one person ahead of me with seniority. She picks all the holiday time off (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, day after, TODAY, etc etc). Which wouldnt be so bad, except that she is a Jehovah Witness and doesn't celebrate the holidays anyway. I told her she should leave those days open for the people that do indeed celebrate and she said she takes that time off because her kids are home from school. Nice try, except that her kids are 15 and 18. Bah humbug. Happy New Year everyone.

	the only reason I am off today and yesterday was the way my work schedule worked out. It was the normal break between 11-7 and 3-11.
