Just curious as to if there's anything left at all of this place. Looks like it's pretty much buried and gone. Sad really...is the one building still standing that anyone knows of?

Yeah, the chapel is still there. Along with a big empty wharehouse nearby that the inmates worked in building stuff. A rave was also held there in 1995.

I wonder why it is still there, actually. Some kind of historical significance? Maybe it is a historic site. Or maybe they're going to do somthing with it?

It looks like it has been demolished. It is ground zero for a new housing development called "Liberty Village" which seems to be a conversion of several dozen empty warehouses into high-end loft spaces along the tracks. There are some excellent warehouses left waiting to be explored, however, the area is now VERY well-lit and the Metro Toronto Police are located across the street.

Good luck, kids! I walked all around Liberty Village last night, and my search was largely fruitless.

Shame. I thought that the Chapel was to have been left because of its heritage status.

Went by recently on the GO train and saw that it is still there. Not as visible due to the new construction around it. It is designated heritage.

Just took a drive by at Lunch. Workers are cleaning up the interior. 2 dumpsters out back and tossing concrete and other debris through a window. Looks like they had to use a ladder on the front side to get in through one of the windows. Im sure if there was any remnants of Inglis (documents) they would be long gone now. I think this space will be renovated in some way but I dont think they can change much. Very protected.

Yup it was there when i walked by there yesterday. Looks a little different from what i remember, its been painted and standing alone. I didnt get an answer from the info center (in the old AR Williams factory) as to what the plans are for the building. It is amazing thou to see the change in the last year over in that site.
