I know that Carrie made several changes to this location...then again someone that works closely with Mtv's Fear is NOT to be trusted. Mainly because of the falsities that they propogated through their show Fear. If proof is needed it can be provided easily.

Excuse you? Who the hell are you people? I can certainly provide many references for my credibility, what about you? How incredibly petty can you get? What is your problem, someone step on your toes?

For your information, my main problem with the changes to this location was the spelling and grammer used. I did not want that type of writing attributed to me.

I added this location and the statements I made are 100% true. Deal with it.

I defy you to find proof that my information is not to be trusted.

Av's right Kriss. We were talking about the changes that Carrie made about a month ago now. Not to mention we never said anything about you particularly. We stated that "Mtv's FEAR is not to be trusted". Why? You yourself said they exagerated and changed information about locations.

The comments about FEAR and Camp Spirit Lake were directed at Carrie?

The production of FEAR has nothing to do with me and my credibility. I have worked very hard at keeping my reputation as an honest investigator and researcher. You and I have discussed this before, HPA, and you know that I didn't work for Fear when Camp Spirit Lake was filmed and that after I was hired things were quite different.

My point here being; I don't think the database should be a place for insult slinging. Of course, this isn't my site, so I could be wrong. However, to question publically the information I provided, which was gathered via direct experience with the location, in such an insulting and derogatory manner is really pathetic.

OK, this is now on 2 diffrent locations, so I'll ask...what the hell are you people talking about? The inter-personal BS does little but cloud the issue, which is....can I get into this place without a hassle, or is it guarded and cammed? Can we get one set of valid data? Other than the pics (which are quite nice, love the collum room), what is the valid info here? Thanks.

The place is slated to go under the wrecking ball very very shortly. Not exactly a place you want to be at the present moment. Unfortunately the time has passed for this location.

Uhmmm, maybe I'm off base here, but wouldn't the fact that this site is up for demolition make it all the more worth going to see? Besides, the land still hasn't sold and the zoning hasn't been arranged so it's not likely to come down to soon.

The Kirkbride, while smallish and completely cleaned out, is full of the personality usually ascociated with this type of building.

The owner has placed small cameras around the campus, but they all seem to be aimed at intersections along the roadways and not at the buildings themselves. Something to keep in mind when walking the grounds.

No you definitely have a point there Robbie. Demolition was scheduled for a much earlier date when I posted that. After talking with the current owners of the place recently it seems to have been delayed even more so as of a few weeks ago. So there is definately time left for folks to check it out. I'm hoping to get back before it's gone myself. We had a blast there last New Years Eve.
