Doing my first UE, any tips?
< on 12/17/2006 1:05 PM >

Hi All, I'm planning to do my first UE in a month or two, just wondering if you have any tips or words of advice. The location is the old Devonport Maternity Hospital where I was born. Would there be much chance of Asbestos in an abandoned Hospital?

Cheers

Best advice? Don't get caught! I'd bet most certainly there is asbestos there. However, asbestos isn't as dangerous as one might believe. As long as you don't kick up dust or otherwise disturb it, you'll be fine. N95 masks would't hurt.

definitely P100. Just be logical and keep a straight mind. Watch before you step and dont be super loud. You should be fine as long as you dont do anything overly stupid. Good luck and let us know how it went

The other day I was riding my bike past here and I had my camera on me, so I thought, why not. So here's my first, albeit impromptu UE.
