There was an active parking lot with a view of part of the site. Nothing came of it.

I feel (perhaps foolishly) secure in a fenced abandoned site. I figure cops would have to get in the same way I did; and they won't know it, or won't go to the trouble.

But parking in front of the site makes it easy for them. They can just stake out your car.

Great location. Didn't go inside due to the trailer at the entrance. However the locks have been removed from the main entrance. Multiple buildings on the property too.

Also yeah there are lots of buildings, we went to all of them. Place is pretty cool. I love the roof access the most.

Went here about a month ago and saw they had replaced the trailer with a security guard. Be careful!

I find it interesting why they (whomever owns this site) would hire a private security company to guard this property if its sat abandoned for such a long time? Maybe they are going to finally move forward with new development?

Well, I read the land was purchased in October, but I have yet to see any other recent information about the property. I assume that it will be torn down soon, but that still does not explain the need for new security....Maybe for liability reasons?

There is some security on sight not to guard the property itself, although they will of course report any suspicious activity, they are protecting the new equipment that has shown up. The road is now blocked off that leads up to it as well, but I haven't checked the back way in that's not from the main road. Still no security inside the grounds, but I'm sure that trailer is still there as well.

The location is really nice. It was pretty sad to go to the kennel area though, it still smelled like dog.

The view was pretty good as well.

Oh sweet, someone did get a picture of the sign!!! (#8) I remember Ganesha and I were disappointed because he didn't get a picture, assuming I had, and I didn't get one, assuming he had lol. That sign was so vibrant still after many years of dust.

Post more Spoon!

Just a head up- security now posts up right in front of the POE. I have also heard multiple stories about him entering the building and chasing people out while saying police are on the way.

It was fun while it lasted...

I'll take a peek on my way home, this is about a mile away from where I live to double-check everything. They closed off the street in front of it though (private parking lot).

We got to see the other parts at least. I noticed the dog smell still there as well. Pretty crazy

Definitely! The kennels were especially freaky.
