Thanks to B&C for the heads up and Zorak for taking me. And Mike the scrapper for being cool. Fun times.

wtf

It's because there are a row of rooms only accessible by ladder.
The metal catwalks were removed (probably when disassembling the machinery)
and we would have totally missed those rooms if it hadn't been for our trusty light saber ;)

Lost America!!!! Holy cow! Great pics! [I admit I cheated and saw a few on Facebook ;) ]

Really stoked that so many of you managed to check this place out in such a short amount of time!

The question is not when are we gonna stop, It's who's gonna stop us?

Great work LostAmerica! I can't even imagine how much time it must take to set up all those shots and get the lighting just right.

Thanks! Those 19 images are 2 evenings (about 4 hours each) of shooting. Plus I wasted my time on a few set ups each night that ended up as failures no one will ever see. I could have done more, but spent a lot of time just exploring and looking around. 10-15 set ups a night is typical, 25, if I'm hot, in a good location. I guess I work pretty fast, considering, but I have 25 years of practice.

Your efforts are appreciated mate. You don't get quality images like that running around taking snapshots. Nice work.

Thanks bonnie&clyde for letting me in on this truly unique explore. Unfortunately, we didn't get much in the way of pictures, since we were busy avoiding the asbestos clean-up guy. We had a truly memorable trip nonetheless.

Also, thanks for thoroughly documenting this place B&C; your pictures allow us to reflect on our time lurking in the darkness

Excellent pictures LostAmerica, The Bacon Hallway is perfect, haha.

In one of the offices the penis on the white board was one of my finest. I am guessing it will start to be torn down in october.

Wow, this place looks amazing. It's sad to hear that they will be tearing it down instead of repurposing it though.

Beautiful work on a place I used to do some work for. Can you hear me clapping?

bonnie&clyde: What is that drawing all about? Looks like meteors are hitting the earth?

LostAmerica: The Heather Locklear Locker is amazing. Beautiful work as always.

HOOPER!!
That's so cool you did work here.
I have idea about that drawing. A river of blood and meteors!
Lol, maybe the scrappers drew it.
Good to see you on here

Everyone else....thanks!
Austtie....so glad you managed to get your butt up here in time!
