| | | I rarely post drain shots outside the draining forum, but here's for those not part of the club. These are from my most recent trip to a boring Mississauga system. Being slow, I'm only starting to shoot in raw (canon rebel xt) and it's actually made a difference.

| | | I've never really done any draining, but these pics kinda make we want to try it.

| | | I think the cropping's fine. I think these are actually some of the better draining shots I've seen on the board lately. I'm not really a fan of the last one because of the hotspot and the ghost effect, but the rest look great. Did you take these by yourself or did you have someone else helping you out?

| | | thanks, they're all taken by me of me. They're all primarily lit by my external flash, which is the cause of the hot spots. I don't have a diffuser, though it wouldn't have made much difference on the last one

| | | As a diffuser, you can very cheaply and simply put a piece of clothe, or even toilet paper in front of your flash. it will give you the same effect (try the number of layer to adjust exactly to your convenience) at a fraction of the price Oh, and very nice shot anyway [last edit 8/21/2008 1:13 AM by Agonie - edited 1 times]

| | | I'm with Dr. Sneeze. I have been semi-interested in draining, but have always preferred to stick with my abandoned hospitals. Now I'm thinking I should bite the bullet and give it a shot. That looks wicked rad. Nice shots!

I should show you my DIY diffuser. $1.75, 5 minutes and a knife. I should say I do like the more recent stuff you have been putting up which I think is the result of your blending multiple exposures. Your getting nice colors and they seem to leap off the screen.
